Diving in the Red Sea The Red Sea, one of the saltiest seas in the world, is located between Africa and Asia and covers around 438,000 km2 (169,100 mi2). Hundreds of hard and soft corals surround this area and are best seen from September to November when visibility is high. The best way to explore the underwater world of the Red Sea is by liveaboard.
