Diving in Andros

The largest island of the Bahamas, Andros Island, has a population of only 7,000 full-time residents. “Idyllic” is the perfect word to describe this place, which is frequently referred to as “an untouched piece of paradise.” This island is the ideal setting for a quiet, private vacation as you explore the natural wonders of the place. Water temperature rarely drops below 80º F (27ºC), and air temperature can vary from warm to hot with 75 to 92º F (24 to 33ºC) between summer and winter seasons. However, avoid traveling from May to October, which is hurricane and rain season. The best time to travel to the Bahamas is from November to May.
